Why are my downloads slow?

It is prohibitivly expensive to store this many large files, as such I am utilizing Hetzner for storage needs. Hetzner's servers are in Germany and Finland, however my webserver is in Chicago, IL. There is significant latency b/t these locations, meaning that transfers start out slow and often negotiate higher speeds after a few seconds. Hetzner does not have a speed guarantee and at peak usage times, downloads may never speed up.

How do I extract these files?

To extract the archives, you can use 7-Zip, a popular file archiver. Follow these steps:

1. Download and install 7-Zip from the official 7-Zip website.
2. Once installed, navigate to the location of the ZIP file.
3. Right-click on the ZIP file and select "7-Zip" from the context menu.
4. Choose the "Extract Here" option to extract the files to the current directory.
5. Alternatively, you can select "Extract to [folder name]" to extract the files to a specific folder.

I want to mirror or scrape the site

Please reach out to me (hiimcody1) on Discord, I will create an FTP for you to grab the files at a higher speed than you could get through the site. PLEASE do not just scrape the site as-is.

MSU Removal Request
